What is ARMHS?

ARMHS comes to you, wherever you are! Our Mental Health Practitioner’s provide creative ways to offer skills and will establish a trusting and collaborative relationship with you while meeting you where you’re at in your mental health journey!

ARMHS is a service that will enable you to accept yourself as you are in the moment, while also learning skills that are needed to get what you want for your quality of life and emerge from your mental suffering.

 What Can ARMHS Help Me With?

  • Coaching skills to manage symptoms:

    • CBT

    • DBT

    • Mindfulness

    • Grounding Techniques

    • Self-Esteem/Self-Worth

    • Executive Functioning

    • Psychoeducation

    • Budgeting, shopping and healthy lifestyle skills and practices

    • Cooking and nutrition skills

    • Healthy sleep hygiene

    • Household management skills

    • Routine building and scheduling

    • Interpersonal skills

    • Healthy communication skills

    • Employment-related skills

    • Volunteering skills

    • Getting connected with opportunities in the community to further education

    • For assistance with housing and transportation needs, individuals may explore other programs such as Housing Support,Housing Stabilization Services, navigating public transportation, utilizing med-cab rides, and encourage communication and planning with family and friends.

    • Practitioner’s are unable to provide direct transportation services.

    • Community resource utilization and integration

    • Identifying crisis resources in the community

    • Relapse Prevention Plan and Skills

    • Crisis Prevention Plan and Skills

 Who can Receive ARMHS?

Anyone receiving Medicaid through the State of Minnesota

Must be 18 years or older

Must have a mental health diagnosis

We serve the following counties:

Anoka, Chisago, Dakota, Ramsey, Hennepin, and Washington
